PGA West is a country club styled luxury golf community, located in beautiful La Quinta, California. The community is made up of nearly 3000 homes designed around six wonderful golf courses, five large lakes, and dozens of swimming pools and spas. The Master planned community is divided into three subdivisions, each managed by their own Home Owners Association. All of PGA West is gated and secured and offers a Country Club, Resort style atmosphere with the comforts of home included. One of the golf courses in our community was designed by world famous golfer and lemonade iced tea enthusiast, Arnold Palmer. Arnold Palmer Course

Set along the Santa Rosa Mountains, this course was designed by Hall of Fame Golfer Arnold Palmer. The beauty and design of this course have made it the site of multiple PGA tournaments over many years. This famous course is a must play for golf enthusiasts of all ages.

Greg Norman Course

This is the newest course at PGA WEST and it is also the only course designed by Greg Norman in the Coachella Valley. The course is laid out on 68 acres of immaculately manicured turf and features 102 white, crushed marble bunkers and multiple blue water hazards on 9 holes on a 7,200-yard course.

Lying 40-feet below sea level and surrounded by framed by majestic mountain scenery, the course sports many wildflowers, a mix of tall and short native grasses, and the natural beauty of the desert environment. The course design and layout presents a challenge for players of all levels.

Jack Nicklaus Private Course

At 6,951 yards, the Nicklaus Private Course currently has the highest stroke and slope ratings of the Private Courses here at PGA West.This course has played host to The Humana Challenge. It is, indeed, among the most challenging courses in Southern California.

Nicklaus Tournament Course

Another masterful Jack Nicklaus-designed course. Even experienced players will find new challenges here, including two island greens. The course is 7,204 yards and has a stroke rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 143. Known as a true ball strikers’ golf course, 2016 marked the first year the Career Builders Challenge was played on the Nicklaus Tournament and host Course. It is known by members as both very forgiving off the tee, and also very demanding around the greens.

Tom Weiskopf Course

Tom Weiskopf incorporated the flavor of Scottish links play in this unique and delightful course.

Eighteen holes, nine inward and nine outward, make up this 7,164 yard, par 72 friendly course of wide open fairways and inviting lush greens. Opened in 1996, The Weiskopf course is a favorite among golf lovers everywhere.

Stadium Course

The Stadium course is the most well-known of the PGA West community. It has been rated as both one of the top 100 courses, as well as one of the 50 toughest. Named the “Stadium” due to the ingenious incorporation of the spectator areas into the natural contours of the landscape, this course features the world famous 17th hole known as “Alcatraz.” Truly a masterwork of design and playability, this course is the jewel of PGA West.
